Ashling Development-Kits and Integrated Development Environment for NXP LPC2000 ARM7-core Microcontrollers

All of Ashling's Development Kits for LPC2000 include an Evaluation Board with On-Board EmbeddedICE Emulator and software to develop, download, flash and debug applications for NXP LPC2xxx ARM7-core Microcontrollers. Each LPC2000 Kit includes:

  • Complete Ashling EVBA7 LPC2000 ARM7TDMI-S Evaluation Board with LPC2106 microcontroller device (options available for other LPC2xxx devices)
  • On-Board EmbeddedICE JTAG Emulator and USB connection to host PC
  • Full-function stand-alone Opella-USB-ARM EmbeddedICE JTAG Emulator for use with any ARM target board (included in DEVK-2000 Kit only)
  • Ashling AsIDE-ARM Integrated Development Environment software with project build manager and source-code editor (Evaluation version, or Full Registered version)
  • GNU ARM Compiler and Linker tools, fully integrated into AsIDE-ARM
  • Ashling PathFinder-2000 Source Debugger software (Evaluation version with 32KB code limit, or full version)
  • Flash Programming software (integrated in PathFinder) to program LPC2xxx Flash using JTAG port
  • Optional Socket Adapter Boards for LPC2114/19, 2124/29, 2194 or LPC2131/32/38 or LPC2210/12/14, 2290/92/94
  • On-line User Manual and full documentation

In addition, Upgrade Options are available, to convert from code-size-limited evaluation software licenses to full unlimited licenses. You can also upgrade from the PathFinder-2000 Source Debugger (works with LPC2xxx devices) to the PathFinder-ARM Source Debugger (works with all ARM7/ARM9 devices). Optional Socket Adapter Boards are available for LPC2104/5/6 device programming or LPC2114/19/2124/29/2194 or LPC2131/32/38 or LPC2210/12/14/2290/92/94 support.

PathFinder-2000

Ashling PathFinder-2000 Source Debugger Software for debugging NXP LPC2000 devices.

PathFinder-2000 is included with the ASK-2000 Starter Kit (Evaluation version, can load and debug maximum 32KB code size).

PathFinder-2000 (full-function unlimited version, can load and debug any code size), is included with the APK-2000 Application Kit and the DEVK-2000 Developer’s Kit. PathFinder-2000 (full version) includes one year of support and upgrades.

EVBA7 Evaluation Board for LPC2000

Flash Programming

    Compiler and Integrated Development Environment

    AsIDE-ARM

    Ashling AsIDE-ARM Integrated Development Environment for ARM. Includes SlickEdit project build manager and source-code editor; GNU ARM Compiler and Linker (configured and invoked from the IDE); and source management utilities.

    The full-function AsIDE-ARM IDE is included with the APK-2000 Application Kit and DEVK-2000 Developer’s Kit, and includes customer registration and one year of technical support and upgrades.

    AsIDE-ARM (Evaluation version) is included with the ASK-2000 Starter Kit. The Evaluation version will regularly remind you to register and upgrade to the fully-supported version.

    LPC210x 48-pin Programming Socket Adapter

    PA-EVBA7-48

    Optional PA-EVBA7-48 LPC210x 48-pin Programming Socket Adapter, supplied with a socketed LPC2106 device in LQFP48 (SOT313-2) package. The Programming Adapter fits onto the EVBA7 Board in place of the fitted LPC2106 device, allowing Flash-programming of multiple 48-pin LPC210x devices; or removal and replacement of devices; or testing with several devices.

    Note! The PA-EVBA7-48 Programming Socket Adapter is suitable for LPC2000 Kit(s) without the LPC210x device fitted; add a -NP suffix to the Kit part-number, thus: ASK-2000-NP, APK-2000-NP or DEVK-2000-NP. The -NP option does not affect the Kit price.

    LPC211x/2x 64-pin Device Adapters

    FA-EVBA7-64

    Optional FA-EVBA7-64 64-pin Device Adapter, supplied with a soldered-on LPC2129 device in LQFP64 (SOT314-2) package. The 64-pin Device Adapter fits onto the EVBA7 Board in place of the standard LPC2106 device, to convert the LPC2000-NP EVBA7 Board to LPC2129 operation.

    Note! The FA-EVBA7-64 Device Adapter is suitable for LPC2000 Kit(s) without the LPC210x device fitted; add a -NP suffix to the Kit part-number, thus: ASK-2000-NP, APK-2000-NP or DEVK-2000-NP. The -NP option does not affect the Kit price.

    PA-EVBA7-64 Programming Socket Adapter

    Optional PA-EVBA7-64 64-pin Programming Socket Adapter, supplied with a socketed LPC2129 device in LQFP64 (SOT314-2) package. The 64-pin Programming Socket Adapter fits onto the EVBA7 Board in place of the standard LPC2106 device, to convert the LPC2000-NP EVBA7 Board to LPC2114/24, LPC2119/29 or LPC2194 operation.

    Note! The PA-EVBA7-64 Programming Socket Adapter is suitable for LPC2000 Kit(s) without the LPC210x device fitted; add a -NP suffix to the Kit part-number, thus: ASK-2000-NP, APK-2000-NP or DEVK-2000-NP. The -NP option does not affect the Kit price.

    LPC22xx 144-pin Device Adapters FA-EVBA7-144

    Optional FA-EVBA7-144 144-Pin Device Adapter, supplied with a soldered-on LPC2294 device in LQFP144 (SOT486-1) package. The 144-pin Device Adapter fits on to the EVBA7 board in place of the standard LPC2106 device, to convert the LPC2000-NP EVBA7 Board to LPC2294 operation.

    PA-EVBA7-144

    Optional PA-EVBA7-144 144-pin Programming Socket Adapter, supplied with a socketed LPC2292 device in LQFP144 (SOT486-1) package. The 144-pin Socket Adapter fits onto the EVBA7 Board in place of the standard LPC2106 device, to convert the LPC2000-NP EVBA7 Board to LPC2210/12/14 or LPC2290/92/94 operation. Includes 8Mb SRAM.
